How Soon Can I Drive After Windshield Replacement?
It's governed by the adhesive's safe-drive-away time, not by how the glass looks or feels.

Safe-drive-away time
The urethane adhesive that bonds a new windshield to your vehicle needs time to cure to a strength that can hold the glass in place structurally, including supporting airbag deployment in a collision. This is called the safe-drive-away time, and it's set by the adhesive manufacturer based on the product and conditions.
What affects the timing
Temperature and humidity both affect cure speed. Your technician will tell you the specific safe-drive-away time for your installation before you leave.
In the first 24–48 hours
Avoid slamming doors, driving on rough or unpaved roads, using a high-pressure car wash, and removing any retention tape until your technician advises it's safe to do so.
